Foreign partners highly appreciated the medical equipment and innovative technologies presented by 12 Russian companies at the 30th international exhibition Expomed Eurasia 2023. The ‘Made in Russia’ national stand presented unique developments in the field of high-precision medical simulators, ophthalmic technologies, screening devices and research and diagnostic equipment.
The Republic of Turkey has long been one of Russia's most important partners, with a twofold increase in trade turnover between Russia and Turkey in 2022.
"At the moment, the trade turnover is around $65.3 billion, and we see good prospects for development of bilateral cooperation, including in the field of healthcare and medical technologies. Russian exporting companies traditionally participate in Expomed Eurasia, as it is a good platform for establishing business contacts with major international players, importers and distributors. The keen interest of Russian companies in the Turkish market serves as an impulse to expand the foreign economic activity of a number of Russian regions," said Alaudin Yarakhmedov, Trade Adviser at the Istanbul branch of the Russian Trade Mission in Turkey.
Russian manufacturers will continue to acquaint foreign partners with domestic developments in the field of healthcare at upcoming exhibitions in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The 30th International Exhibition of Medical, Diagnostic, Laboratory and Hospital Equipment Expomed Eurasia 2023 is the main event in the field of medicine and healthcare in Turkey and throughout Western Asia. The exhibition introduces medical sector suppliers to key industry players both in Turkey and in neighbouring developing Eurasian markets.
More than 600 exhibitors from the Eurasian region take part in the exhibition annually; about 20,000 Turkish citizens and more than 5,000 professional specialists from other countries visit the exhibition as guests.
